[VRoid] Mermaid Tail / 人魚のしっぽ

(deepL:) このテクスチャーを自分の作品だと主張しないでください。どこかで再配布する場合や、アバターを使って再配布する場合は、私のクレジットを表示する必要があります。/ Please do not claim this texture as your own work. If you redistribute it anywhere, or use your avatar to redistribute it, you must give me credit. I created this mermaid tail for swimming in Udon waters in VRChat, and thought others might also like to do the same. Here is a pretty mermaid tail I made! You can use this hair preset file to add onto your avatar. Don't forget to erase the legs on your avatar to make this look convincing. I also included a skirt (uses longcoat high neck) and bra (goes on body directly) to complete the look. LICENSE: CC by Attribution 4.0 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/deed.ast (you do not need to list credits if you are making a personal avatar) NOTE!: There is no way to cleanly connect the tail to the VRoid waist, so this is why a skirt or tunic is needed to cover that area. It's an illusion! Directions to import tail preset: 1. Unzip the tail file. 2. Within the main folder is another folder, rename this to "preset#" (# being whatever the latest number it is for hair presets you have--so if you have 4 hair presets saved in VRoid already, name this folder "preset5"). 3. Go to "C:\Users\Username\AppData\LocalLow\pixiv\VRoidStudio", find the hair preset folder, and drop the new hair preset folder in with the rest. 4. You should now be able to load your hair preset in VRoid. Import the tail preset, and then add the hair you want. Do NOT add hair to the same hair group as the tail! If you want to export your new mermaid file and use it in a game like VRChat, you'll need to transfer the bone weights. Use this tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eIRe1baRWn0 The bone weight transfer plugin for Unity is here: https://booth.pm/en/items/1784758 If you import this into Unity for VRChat, you'll need to set dynamic bones on the tail so it can move gracefully. If you want a cute skin to use with this avatar, I created one here: https://aemeth.booth.pm/items/2230724 FAQ --- "Can I edit these files?" Yep and then you can sell your edits, if you want! Please attribute me as the original avatar creator, though. You can make public avatar worlds with these too. "What are the permissions?" You can use these for all personal and commercial endeavors. You may also redistribute the file, but please credit me for creating it. "Can I kitbash with non-VRoid avatars?" Yes! "I want to use full-body VR with this." Try re-rigging it with Mixamo. I have no idea what will happen though, as I don't have full-body. "I have a question that you haven't answered!" I can answer questions specific to this avatar, but I can't help with VRoid technical or general VR support. I just make cool textures, really! Send me a message if you have questions about this file specifically. Thank you!
